Responsive Website for Search-With-Pictures Software
The Challenge: Innovative visual search startup eyesFinder had a simple website that was launched quickly and was not performing well on search engines. The site had a frequently updated blog, but it was hosted separately with WordPress and was not consistent with the rest of their site.
The Solution: After creating mockups of several responsive website themes, a fast-loading multipurpose theme was selected. I built out all pages of the site using content from their old site and also from print pieces I had recently designed. I created simple illustrations showing how the software works. The database of old blog posts was transferred to the new site. The pages were optimized for search engines and a variety of WordPress plugins were installed to improve website performance and ease of use by administrators and blog authors. Some custom code was added to add landing page features and make all colors consistent.
